Edgar Mauricio González Tovar is a Senior Embryologist with over 25 years of experience in assisted reproduction. He holds a biotechnology degree from the National Polytechnic Institute (IPN) in Mexico City and a Master’s in Human Reproduction and Clinical Embryology from IVI in Seville, Spain. He has directed IVF laboratories across Mexico, Europe, and the United States, designing and launching 12 labs in three countries and training 14 embryologists. His expertise includes embryonic micromanipulation, biopsy, and preimplantation genetic screening (PGS). A frequent congress speaker and member of ASRM, AMMR, and ESHRE, he is recognized for advancing laboratory quality standards and, over 18 years, for leading international surrogacy programs that help families worldwide achieve parenthood.
