Your Journey Timeline
A clear roadmap from first consultation to the moment you hold your child.
Step by Step
What to Expect & When
Every journey is unique - timing may vary, but this roadmap gives you a clear picture of each milestone ahead.
Consultation & Program Selection
Contact us for a free initial consultation. We'll walk through your individual circumstances step by step to determine the best program and destination for you. Once you've chosen a program, we'll formalize the agreement with a contract.
Testing & Documentation
Submit medical test results and required documents latest 1 month before your clinic visit at your destination. Tests include a basic fertility evaluation and semen analysis. A criminal record extract is required for all Baby Wiltor processes. Your coordinator will provide a detailed checklist for your chosen destination.
Travel to the Destination
A first trip to the clinic is made to provide biological material and complete initial medical tests. If your own eggs are used, hormonal stimulation and egg retrieval may take place during this visit.
Egg Donor Selection & Retrieval
If an egg donor is needed, a suitable donor is selected in consultation with the clinic. The donor undergoes hormonal stimulation; the clinic monitors the cycle and retrieves the eggs at the appropriate time. Frozen eggs are also available for a faster process.
Creating Embryos
Fertilization occurs and embryos develop for 5–6 days to the blastocyst stage. Embryos may undergo genetic screening (PGT-A) for quality and gender selection - approximately 14 days. Embryos are then frozen while the surrogate prepares for transfer.
Matching with a Surrogate
The surrogate is central to the process; her health and wellbeing are our priority. Surrogates matched with you have passed thorough physical and psychological screening according to the rules of the chosen destination.
Embryo Transfer
The surrogate begins treatment to prepare for embryo transfer - typically a month-long protocol. When the doctor confirms the uterine lining is ready, the transfer is performed. About two weeks later a blood test confirms pregnancy.
Pregnancy Care
A full care plan is activated for the surrogate with regular clinic check-ups. Intended parents receive ongoing images and reports from the surrogate's appointments and may attend visits in person or virtually.
Birth
Three to four weeks before the due date, intended parents travel to the destination to be present for the birth. We guide you through the final steps with close follow-up, a birth meeting, and a birth guide to help you prepare for this life-changing moment.
Citizenship & Return Home
After birth we assist with the necessary steps for the child's citizenship, documentation, and your travel home so your new family can start life together. Our legal team at each destination handles all required documentation.
You are never alone.
Once you choose Baby Wiltor, your dedicated Concierge Coordinator will be by your side day and night - guiding every step with warmth, professionalism, and a shared commitment to helping you become a parent.
